#Weekly design 2# This week's design is a container studio apartment suitable for a backyard, or perhaps a farm house. The design is composed of two 20ft containers(6x3m each). Total area: 36 square meters Unlike previous designs, this time we adopted a separation of active and quiet zones. The separate placement of the containers greatly increases natural light, allowing the outdoor scenery to blend seamlessly with the house. Large glass walls make the interior very bright and airy, creating a feeling of embracing nature even in the 18-square-meter living room. We will take into account all the feedback and create the most popular designs for you. hashtag#weekly design 1# This week's design is a two-bedroom, one-living room house made from a 40-foot container (specific dimensions: 12*3.8m, totaling 45.6 square meters). In this design, we haven't adhered to standard container dimensions, but instead made the length and width larger than usual standard, resulting in a more practical interior space and faster installation. Furthermore, this design allows for the entire structure to be lifted and moved after installation, making it a truly mobile home. (Legally, this type of movable home is considered temporary housing, which can make it easier to obtain building permits, and in many countries, no building permit is even required!)

Philippines Señor Tesoro Academy Container Classroom Officially Put Into Use

This school in Pangasinan, Philippines, is unique because it's constructed from a combination of 40 units of 6x3-meter container house, included 10 classrooms, a teacher's office, and two canteens. Each classroom can accommodate 40-50 students, and the entire school can accommodate up to 500 students. The project began planning in February of this year, and from design to production, transportation, and completion, it took less than six months, including the construction of a concrete foundation and the delays caused by the rainy season. The project manager also told us that the school is now almost full of students and the overall performance has exceeded expectations. They plan to expand the school in the coming months and build a third floor. Finally, this modular construction solution offers significant advantages over traditional construction methods: first, shorter construction time; second, higher economic efficiency with a shorter payback period; and third, the flexibility to adjust the site at any time, allowing for the addition or removal of containers based on future needs.
