Philippines Señor Tesoro Academy Container Classroom Officially Put Into Use

This school in Pangasinan, Philippines, is unique because it's constructed from a combination of 40 units of 6x3-meter container house, included 10 classrooms, a teacher's office, and two canteens. Each classroom can accommodate 40-50 students, and the entire school can accommodate up to 500 students.

The project began planning in February of this year, and from design to production, transportation, and completion, it took less than six months, including the construction of a concrete foundation and the delays caused by the rainy season. The project manager also told us that the school is now almost full of students and the overall performance has exceeded expectations. They plan to expand the school in the coming months and build a third floor.

Finally, this modular construction solution offers significant advantages over traditional construction methods: first, shorter construction time; second, higher economic efficiency with a shorter payback period; and third, the flexibility to adjust the site at any time, allowing for the addition or removal of containers based on future needs.
